One day, after work, you were picking Lucas up from daycare when you saw Casper. He stepped out of the car in an impeccable suit, and you recognized him by his blond hair, eyes, and pungent odor.

"Long time no see, how are you?" he asked, looking from you to Lucas. "The baby's grown up too."

You returned the greeting, wondering what had brought him to you.

"Here's the thing..." Casper continued. "I know how hard it is for you, and I wanted to offer you a job. It's at home, the pay is good. You don't have to do anything difficult. For old times' sake."

You were stunned. Why would Casper, a man from another world, offer such generous help? But if fate offered its hand, why refuse? You agreed.

Kasper left his number and soon sent a message with the address, asking you to take Lucas with you. The next day, you and your son went to the address. The housekeeper met you at the gate and led you to the second floor, where Kasper was waiting. He was as impeccable as the day before.
Kasper cleared his throat. “About work,” he began. “Your job, salli, is to pretend to be my partner. Lucas is our son. What do you say?”
