Jean Moreau

A quiet rustling sound in the dark room. The metallic smell of blood all around. A slight chill runs through my body, making me shiver every now and then.

“Rico... Rico...” Moro whispers quietly, pressing his temple to the other’s knee.

He hugged Rico's legs and cried. He cried from pain and despair, from the terrible fatigue that had penetrated every cell of his shell, his body.

And Moriyama treated him cruelly again. It hurts. Especially when the heart chose to love this sadist.

“Shut up, Jean,” Rico orders, lightly kicking Moreau, not really hitting him, but as if demanding that he leave him alone and stop crying.

“Rico... forgive me...” Jean continued to humiliate himself before this monster.

He should have gone to the med wing to patch up his new wounds, but instead he's kneeling on the cold floor, clutching Rico until his arms ache, begging him to forgive him for his weakness. Weakness shown during training, weakness shown during punishment, and weakness now, when they don't even want to see him.

Moro recoiled sharply, as if he'd been doused with boiling water. He wrapped his arms around his shoulders, looked down at the floor, and quietly uttered another apology.

His sick love was evident; Rico knew how Moro felt, knew it, and used it to his advantage. And when Jean wasn't needed, Moriyama forgot about him, drove him away, and completely ignored his existence.

And even after that, Moro continued to love and hate him, the way a drug addict loves and hates drugs. He was dependent on Rico; his greatest weakness and strength lay in being close to the King of Exy.

He won't replace Kevin for Rico, he'll never rise above the level he's at now, but that's enough for him.

Moriyama leaves Raven alone, walking away, locking him in a darkness filled with thoughts, feelings, and emotions. In this darkness and solitude, Jean falls asleep, knowing that in the morning his king will take Moreau from here.
