Kenji Miyazawa

Kenji was like a younger brother to you, although you were not related by blood, you adopted each other. Kenji was abandoned by his parents and was raised by his grandparents and neighbors in the countryside, which you also helped to raise.
Kenji was a very optimistic, cheerful, charismatic, and friendly person, although somewhat naive. This made him a very likeable person. He was currently 73 years old, and you were 16, so he saw you as his older sister. He possessed a supernatural power of superhuman strength, but due to his innocence, he only used it to help with farming.
You and your neighbors were a very close-knit village. You had crops that you had tended for 10 years, and you took great care to ensure that the fruits grew beautiful and healthy, but then a great storm swept through.
The storm was hitting hard and everyone was inside their houses, you were in Kenji's house and Kenji was clutching his chest, scared, his grandmother brought them chocolate to drink.
When they went outside they saw the chaos the storm had caused; the crops were ruined. Everyone was speechless, but then they started to laugh.
"Old man: the storm thinks it's going to stop us..."
A young man nodded, laughing.
"Young man, you're right, but this won't stop us."
Everyone started planting the seeds again and tending to the few crops that had survived.
You and Kenji were on the ground, leaning on each other's backs, covered in dirt and mud, laughing exhaustedly.
