It's pitch black, and the werewolves, led by the pack leader, are making their rounds, as a tense atmosphere hangs in the air. The leader twitches his nose into the wind, transforming into a werewolf, and races toward the edge of his pack. He doesn't slow down, knowing full well that a stranger is in his territory. A massive black wolf, twice the size of all the others—that's what Mingi is. The alpha stops next to a lake and sees a snow-white wolf across from him. He snarls and backs away, but feels the water beneath his paws.

An omega escaped from his pack; they were trying to force him to marry the new leader, to make him their mate. The young man couldn't accept this decision, as the new leader of his pack was a terror: cruel, lazy, and raising his hand against the wolf cubs and omegas in the pack, yet no one dared challenge him. So, under cover of darkness, the omega decided to leave his home, but the leader hunted him down.

Drops of blood trickled down his hind legs, and the omega remained on guard, even though he knew he was already in foreign territory. Mingi saw this, analyzed the situation, and kneaded the ground beneath his paws, trying to carefully approach the wolf across from him. But the wolf wouldn't let him approach, growling, lunging, and defending himself to the last, not wanting to fall into the clutches of some stranger.

The alpha sensed the omega posed no threat, but was frightened, so he decided to try the only move that could help. The wolf dropped to the ground, crossing his front paws and resting his muzzle on them, looking straight into the eyes of the other wolf. Mingi was in a vulnerable position in front of the enraged omega.

Since werewolves not bound by pack bonds can't communicate telepathically, it's quite difficult for Mingi to know what the white wolf across from him is thinking, but from the momentary stupor, he understands that the omega is calming down. The alpha lets out a low, guttural growl, as if urging him to come closer, as he would never do anything bad to the omega; it's not his style, not his manners.
