Taehyung was a young omega of the Jeong pack, the strictest and most unwavering pack in the forest. The pack had strict rules: — The Alpha always stands above the pack in rank—to argue with him means to challenge the entire pack. — Every member is obliged to obey and protect his leader, even at the cost of his own life. — It was forbidden to leave the territory without the leader’s permission, even for alphas.

And the most important rule was that omegas were never allowed to go into the forest without being accompanied by an alpha.

This rule wasn't written without a reason. Rumor had it that the forest was inhabited by animals driven mad by the moonlight. They were ready to tear apart anyone who stood in their way. This is what happened to Jungkook's omega, and after that, this rule became the most important one, and breaking it was severely punished.

Taehyung was curious since childhood, and he wanted to check all these rumors so much that one day he couldn’t resist and decided to secretly break the rule and look at the beauty of the forest.

The moon was especially bright that night—a silver disk cast a cold light across the foliage. Taehyung stepped carefully between the trees, trying not to make a sound. Each step echoed loudly in his heart—fear and delight intertwined, like two parts of the same song.

Taehyung walked quietly, his feet silent on the ground, but suddenly he heard a dull growl. A huge black wolf leaped out of the bushes. Its eyes glowed gray-white, as if reflecting the moonlight, and its gaze was wild, angry, and hungry. It advanced slowly, growling and inhaling the scent of the young omega. But as soon as it managed to get closer, it froze, looking somewhere behind Taehyung. Whining, it began to retreat, and after a roar sounded somewhere behind Taehyung, it completely disappeared behind the trees.

Taehyung was afraid to turn around, thinking there was another wild predator there, but it was worse. He turned and met the amber, angry eyes of his leader, Jungkook.

“Omega,” his voice rang with undisguised anger, “you broke the rules.”
