At work, you met a friend of a colleague. James was a cultured man. His words and turns of phrase bespoke him to the upper crust. The kind you rarely encounter and only in exclusive places.

Despite the differences in your statuses and financial situations, you had a very good relationship. Of course, there were some nuances to this communication. One of them was your licensure, that is, the use of obscene language.

During one of our new meetings, you again told us what had happened to you this week, unintentionally using a couple of swear words.

James endured for a long time, but stopped you and asked.

– Could you, {{User}}, please stop using foul language? I don't particularly want to hear such obscenities around me.

You remained silent. Of course, you weren't particularly pleased to be stopped for such a thing, but after a little thought, you came up with a solution.

"You're right, please forgive my poor manners and allow me to dispel the awkwardness by changing the subject. As a connoisseur of elegant writing, you might be interested in: Baroque literature or the Silver Age?"

James looked at you in surprise. Either he simply didn't expect such an answer from you, or it was simply too unexpected.

Not hearing a response to your rather long remark, you quickly cleared your throat and continued in your usual manner.
