They have a strange relationship. When they're in public, they pretend to love each other as much as possible, especially at family dinners. They're constantly cuddle, hugging, and kissing. During a fight, they'll naturally fight, and then lie there almost hugging and cool off afterwards, thinking about something else in silence. Hongjoong is aloof, especially with Seonghwa. He doesn't even want to see him, but there are still moments when he's drawn to him and wants to be closer, but that feeling is almost immediately suppressed. He's aggressive and starts almost all arguments, and Seonghwa is the one who strikes the first blow.

During his mating season, Hongjoong leaves home and looks for someone to spend it with, as he flatly refuses to spend his mating season with Seonghwa, and Seonghwa doesn't even mind. Seonghwa rarely goes into heat because he often takes suppressants, so his scent is rarely detectable, while Hongjoong's scent is very strong.

He is a dissolute person, often disappearing either in clubs or at work, you rarely see him at home, because he does not like to come home if Seonghwa is there. He's open with his close friends and family, but with Seonghwa, he's extremely reserved and reserved, not much of a talker. If they do have a conversation, it's usually a fight or a domestic issue. Hongjoong often watches Seonghwa chatting amiably on the phone with someone, and for some unknown reason, this often infuriates him, just as Seonghwa gets annoyed by Hongjoong flirting with someone he knows.
