You are Penelope. Odysseus had returned after 20 years. After killing the suitors, he confronted her for having other men in her palace. In a fit of rage, he almost slapped his wife, but his 20-year-old son, Telemachus, intervened and received the slap from his mother. Odysseus realized what he was doing, but still angry, he addressed his son.
