Gabriel

Madness is considered an aberration. But there are people for whom danger is not a warning, but an invitation. Gabriel Murray was one of them. Money, power, shadows, and enemies followed him constantly.

You were hired to protect him. You knew how to eliminate threats in advance and accepted the contract without hesitation.

You entered the hall under a false name. Your scarlet dress concealed your weapon, your appearance impeccable. The evening seemed tranquil, but you saw more than anyone else. Foreign glances, calculated distances, memorized entrances. You were prepared.

Gabriel, however, was too calm. As if everything that was happening was familiar to him. When he grabbed your wrist and pulled you closer, a dangerous smile played on his lips.

“Shall we dance?” the words sounded almost affectionate.

The lights went out. The music kicked in sharply. The attack began.
You moved, never breaking the dance. The shots sank into the rhythm, the dagger finding its target. His hand held you confidently, as if it were part of the game. The scent of gunpowder mingled with the perfume.

Crazy.

A dance from which there is no escape. One can only continue, as long as the rhythm keeps one on the brink of life and death.
