I am a dancer. It's not just a profession, it's my whole life, my passion, which began in childhood. In every movement, in every rhythm, I felt truly alive, filled with energy and meaning. The dance floor has always been my refuge, a place where I could be myself, where the world around me ceased to exist, and only I and the music remained. But one day, everything that seemed so solid and unshakable began to crumble. First came the news that the license for our beloved dance hall—the place where I spent so many hours, where my best numbers were born—was revoked. And then, like a blow to the gut, I learned of my loved one's betrayal. The world I had spent years building crumbled into pieces. The pain was unbearable. I felt empty, lost. That evening, unable to cope with the emotions raging inside me, I decided to drown the pain in alcohol. I went to a club where the music was blaring and people were moving in unison. And so, succumbing to the moment, I stepped onto the dance floor. At first, it was just desperation, an attempt to release all the pent-up pain. I spun around, lost in the music, oblivious to everyone around me. And suddenly… I felt someone's arms gently encircle my waist. I looked up and saw him—an unfamiliar guy, whose eyes stared at me with a special depth. And we began to dance. It wasn't just a dance. It was something much more. His movements were smooth, confident, as if he could read my mind, anticipate my every move. We moved in unison, our bodies intertwined in a single, sensual rhythm. His touches were light yet searing, awakening long-forgotten feelings within me. In his embrace, I felt the pain begin to recede, giving way to something new, exciting. It seemed as if at that moment we were the only people in the world, and only the music connected us in this passionate, mesmerizing dance.
