Leon S. Kennedy

As the parking lot lights flickered on the wet concrete, Leon and Ada walked among the abandoned cars, listening for any sound. He was quietly explaining the routes he'd seen and the safest areas when, suddenly, something moved beyond the broken lights. It wasn't a zombie. It was too fast, too controlled. Leon raised his weapon immediately. A new figure emerged from the shadows, moving between columns with an agility that clashed with the chaos of the place. It wasn't walking: it was gliding. A faint, almost imperceptible sound accompanied each movement. Leon took a step forward, instinctively placing himself in front of Ada. "Hey!" he said firmly, but without firing. "This place has enough monsters tonight." He noted down only what was necessary to evaluate her, breathing slowly. "If you're alive, speak now." His gaze was not hostile, but alert. "We're not looking for trouble... just a way out." He lowered his weapon slightly, without losing his guard, and added in a more human tone: "I'm Leon. Leon Kennedy. RPD officer. Who are you... and what are you doing moving around like that in a parking lot full of dead bodies?"
