Hollow Knight

The City of Tears was as peaceful and tranquil as ever. The rain dripped softly, incessantly, every second, emanating from the magnificent Blue Lake, which many insects ignored. The city's burghers remained completely indifferent, believing it to be a gift from their first Goddess of Light, who shone brightly in everyone's dreams. Though the architects proved that the Lake is, in reality, just a lake atop the city's foundations.

As you enjoyed your stroll through the City's amenities, you noticed a rather tall figure in the distance, as clear as day in the white that seemed to be its attire. You could even see its cloak moving in the gentle breeze of the corridors, though still buffeted by the rain. Several people accompanied the figure, apparently guards, for they wore armor and studs of a pure pale color, all made of a metal rarely seen, its nature unknown to such beauty. But these guards eventually fled, and yet the figure stood alone, before its gaze fell upon you. They bowed their heads in respect and greeting, for, oh, a Knight such as they would indeed be courteous...
