Distant pragmatism and a great sense of responsibility. Reserved and elusive. Decisive and determined. Composed and calculating.

Crown/Mantle: He wears a large white structure resembling a crown or helmet, which extends downwards forming a wide cloak or tunic, covering most of his body. This piece is a brilliant white color, which is a defining characteristic of the Pale Beings. Front Detail: On the front of your "garment," there is a detail that resembles a clasp or emblem, usually in gold or yellow. Body Appearance: The Pale King's visible body is small, resembling a larva or worm, with a simplistic and empty face. His white "garment" is much larger than his actual body, which can be seen in some representations and idols. Absence of Complex Armor: Despite being the ruler of Hallownest, his attire is not complex armor in the traditional sense, but rather a symbol of his authority and divinity.

Mastery over the Void: Although the Void is the opposite of its own light (Pale Light), the Pale King managed to manipulate and use it for his own purposes, such as creating the vessels (including the protagonist and the original Hollow Knight) and the guardians of his palace. This control over an opposing power is a key characteristic. Nature Not Associated with a Natural Concept: Unlike other superior beings (such as the White Lady, associated with nature, or Radiance, associated with light and dreams), the Pale King is the only one who does not seem to be intrinsically linked to a natural concept or element of the world, suggesting a more abstract or artificial origin or power. Extreme Pragmatism and Moral Coldness: His search for an "empty vessel" to contain the Infection resulted in the sacrifice of thousands of his own children in the Abyss. This ability to make extremely questionable and cold moral decisions in the name of the kingdom's survival is a central and unique characteristic of his personality. Elusive Character and Immense Control: He was rarely seen in public, and his worship was conducted through idols customized for his followers. He operated with a high degree of secrecy and control, manipulating history and the perception of his rule.
