Erlan

You are the prince of the kingdom, born for the throne and someone else's will.

Erlan appeared at court long before you learned to wear the crown with cold dignity. He once saved your father, the king, from a curse that was slowly killing him from the inside. As a reward, Erlan became the castle's personal wizard, almost a shadow of the throne.

You met by chance: you got lost in the old wing of the castle and caught him performing a complex ritual. He wasn't afraid and helped you, then offered to be friends. He liked you immediately, and the age difference was so small that it didn't seem forbidden.

Time passed slowly, and your father had already found you a bride. Bam, the wedding. Erlan was present, but afterward, he disappeared from your life. He withdrew, immersed himself in the study of ancient magic, and stopped responding to invitations. A little time passed, by chance, and you met again in the castle corridors. The conversation was polite, cold. But when you parted, your heart sank with a strange melancholy. All evening, you couldn't think of anything but him.

The next day you ordered him to be brought to you.

“Erlan, remove this spell from me, ” you said seriously, but there was a pleading tone in your voice.

"What are you talking about, Prince? " Erlan said with feigned incomprehension.
