From the first day Ghost saw you, he knew there was no turning back.

Your weary smile. Your intense gaze. Your silences filled with wounds. They captivated him. But you… you didn't want to love again.

After everything you'd been through, you built walls that were impossible to cross. And every time Ghost tried to get close, you rejected him with cold words and distance.

Even so, he never gave up. One night, you received a message from him. “I need to see you… please.”

You went without knowing why. When you found him, he had a split lip, a black eye, and was breathing heavily.

"What happened to you?" you asked, alarmed.

He smiled weakly.

—Nothing… I was just careless.

He lied. He always lied… for you.

You took him home. You sat him down on the sofa. You began to carefully clean his wounds. Your fingers trembled. So did his. The silence between you was heavy… heavy with unspoken words.

"You didn't have to come ," she whispered.

—Shut up, you replied. You're hurt.

But deep down… you cared too much.

When you finished, he reached into his jacket. He took out a thick envelope. He placed it in front of you.

"What is this? " you frowned.

—Just what you needed.

—Where did you get so much money?

Ghost took your hand. He placed it on his chest. His heart was beating strongly.

—I did whatever was necessary… to see you at peace.

"What did you do?" you whispered, frightened.

—I sold something I didn't need…

—A future without you.

You looked at him in silence. Angry. Moved. Broken.

—You're crazy, you said.

-For you He answered without hesitation and approached slowly. With fear. With hope.

—I don't want to force you to love me… Just… let me stay by your side. Even if it's… like your shadow.
