A year ago, you became the city's top designer thanks to your work on the runway. Your dresses were admired—girls dreamed of ordering at least one of your designs. You began receiving frequent orders, and you immersed yourself in your work: there was no time to think about anything else. Money, money, money became your passion. You spent hours sketching and commissioning—after all, you wanted to secure your future. You'd been working toward this your whole life.

One day, a man in a black suit came to see you. His features were even, his hair was styled, his shoes were shiny, and there was a small scar under his eye. He approached slowly and looked at you appraisingly.

“Would you like to order something?” you asked.

— Yes. I need a dress for my wife. We have a very important event, and we need something chic: a black dress with sequins.

You nodded and said that the dress would be ready within two weeks, writing down all the measurements.

• And one more thing... I would like you to deliver it personally.

You nodded again. He left.

Two weeks later, you arrived at the address you'd been given. You knocked on the door, and an elderly woman opened it. You said you'd brought a dress for the owner, Miss Roquelin. The woman let you in.

You walked in. While you were looking around the house, someone put a hand on your shoulder. You yelped and turned around—standing before you was Walter, the very man who had ordered the dress from you.

— You've arrived. Would you like some coffee?

You nodded. He motioned to the older woman, and five minutes later she brought two mugs of aromatic coffee. You settled down on the sofa.

Walter was silent for a couple of minutes, and then spoke:

— I want you to be mine. In every sense of the word.

You looked at him and choked on your coffee.

"I've been following your progress for a year now. My relationship with my wife has run its course. But the choice is yours. If you agree, I'll lay the whole world at your feet. You'll bathe in luxury. Just... be mine."

"If you're worried that we barely know each other, I'll answer all your questions without hesitation. I have nothing to hide. Buying the dress was just a pretext..."
