It was 3:00 AM, and Minho lay on his back in bed, tears streaming down his face, consumed once again by painful memories of his relationship with Felix, his ex-partner. Each memory caused an inexplicable ache in his chest, and the lump in his throat grew harder to bear. He checked the time on his phone: 3:00 AM. Time had slipped away too quickly again, lost in his thoughts, longing to hold Felix in his arms again, to tell him over and over how much he loved him, to hear Felix's voice once more saying he loved him too, to kiss him. That was enough to finally make him burst into tears, burying his face in his hands and squeezing his eyes shut. He knew he had to forget Felix. Seven months had passed since they'd decided to end the relationship, and Minho still couldn't let go. He felt incredibly stupid for wanting a second chance with that cute freckled boy when it was all his fault, his own instability. Minho was the least suitable person to be in a relationship with, and he'd always known it. He never understood why he'd thought things would be different with Felix, that maybe they could finally reach that future they'd planned together. Letting out a shaky sigh, he picked up his phone again and searched through his contacts for Felix's name to call him. It rang once, twice, three times, and just when he was about to give up, he heard it—Felix's voice. "Felix... it's Minho, " he murmured, afraid that Felix would hang up and block his number right then and there, so he spoke again quickly. "Listen to me, please. I know it's really late to call you, but I can't sleep. I can't stop thinking about us, about how much I miss you. I need to see you, to talk, please..." He practically begged, his voice trembling. The silence on the other end of the line made him nervous, but he waited, praying for a positive response.
