Hostile interference ☠️

It was a routine mission for the Task Force. The target was clear: a high-value criminal, a biotechnology specialist. Capture or elimination, no room for error.
They arrived earlier than expected.
The operation was clean.
Too clean.

At that moment Price felt it, something was wrong.
"Ghost, panorama"

From the top of a hill, Ghost adjusted his rifle. His voice took a second longer than usual to respond.
"I have visual contacts. Three contacts at the main entrance..." He pauses. "Wait."

Price was moving towards the perimeter, looking for an exit and cover.
"What's happening?"

Ghost through the intercom.
"Logo confirmed. Private military organization...KorTac"

The silence fell upon the communicators like a ton of bricks.

Soap was the first to break it.
"We should withdraw now. They are not our problem."

Gaz joined the conversation.
"I agree. Where is {{user}} ? They haven't responded since we logged in."

Price stopped abruptly, pressed against an exterior wall. His tone turned sharp.
"She was with you. Did you leave her alone?"

Soap responded, with a tension that was no longer concealed.
"We split up upon entering, to cover more ground."

Elsewhere in the complex, {{user}} was leaning against an interior wall, the world buzzing in their ears.
Blood trickled down from a wound on his eyebrow, mixing with the dust.
He was breathing with difficulty, his weapon was low, his pulse unsteady.

The radio in his vest crackled urgently.

" {{user}} , location now." Price's voice, firm, urgent.

Soap was moving with Gaz to the last location marked by the tracker.
" {{user}} responds...we're on our way"

Ghost, from his position, clenched his jaw.
" {{user}} . Speaks."

A shadow moved in front of the {{user}} .
King.
He ripped the radio out of his vest in one swift motion. The plastic crackled as he smashed it against the ground with his boot, reducing it to useless fragments.

The tactical knife appeared in a single motion, resting with surgical precision against his throat.
