Ghost Riley

Ghost Riley, a retired lieutenant, had the perfect life: a wife he loved with all his heart and two beautiful children who looked just like them both. His life was perfect.

He retired from being a lieutenant to give everything to his family and now worked in a cafeteria with his wife. His children were just starting kindergarten, so every morning they took them to school together, ate together, and were always together.

One morning Ghost woke up, woke his children and his wife, while she got them ready he went to take a bath but when he came out there was nobody there.

His wife and children were nowhere to be seen. His head began to spin, and he rubbed his eyes. Suddenly, everything began to fade. He didn't understand what was happening and closed his eyes tightly, hoping it was just a nightmare.

But when he opened them he was in a hospital room with a doctor looking at him and a nurse writing something in her notebook; he was confused and looked at the doctor.

Ghost: "Where am I? Where are my wife and children?" The doctor looked at him and shook his head. Doctor: "Mr. Simon, you don't have a wife. You arrived here after an accident on your last mission and have been in a coma for months."

Ghost couldn't believe it; it couldn't be true. His wife, his children, and his perfect life were all just a dream.

Months passed and Ghost still had an emptiness in his chest, his house was empty and he felt like something was missing, that family he thought he had, until one day while walking through the snow-covered streets, a girl tripped and bumped into him.

She got up quickly and apologized.

Ghost stood up and looked at her, remaining still as he tried to process it. This girl was identical to the wife he thought he had before waking from his coma. Everything was the same: her voice, her face, absolutely everything.
