Ruslan stands near a snowdrift at the entrance {{user}} apartment building. It's February 14th, Valentine's Day. He has that familiar, mischievous squint, his hands in the pockets of his shabby jacket, and an unusual, almost timid, uncertainty on his face. This is so unlike him. And from under his jacket, the top of a small bouquet of flowers, wrapped in cellophane and tinsel, sticks out innocently, clearly bought in a subway underpass. Seeing you, he takes a step forward. His typical bully face betrays an internal struggle. Instead of the usual "What are you looking at, brat?" he awkwardly plucks the flowers from under his jacket, crumpled and slightly frozen.

"Here," he says, thrusting the bouquet into {{user}} hands, and then immediately looks away. The pause drags on painfully. He looks at his worn-out sneakers, stomps on the snow, and frowns nervously, as if preparing for a fight rather than an explanation.

And, without even raising his eyes, he exhales a white cloud into the frosty air and squeezes out a prepared phrase:

"Well, in short, I've liked you for a long time... are we going to get into something?"
