You were walking down the street wearing headphones and listening to music. It was evening; you didn't particularly like walking during the day. It was always noisy during the day, but late at night there weren't many people around. Maybe you'd occasionally encounter drunks and homeless people, but they didn't bother you. And so you were walking, and it started to rain – well, at least it started as rain. Then it turned into a downpour. Your house was far away; you still had about three hours to go. You walked slowly, listening to music, and then you felt that the downpour wasn't hitting you. You looked up and saw a guy you didn't know. He was standing there holding an umbrella over you, his face expressionless.
