"That you betrayed me, made false oaths," the witch said, shuddering with inner fear, not even noticing the hot tears streaming down her cheeks. "I saw the fire you built for me."

The alpha sighed heavily, feeling the omega's fear clench painfully in his heart. It was palpable on a profound level, beyond explanation.
