As the days go by you get to know him and like him, until one day you kiss in a house that was private property, far from everyone where many lavender plants grew, too many, after that you became closer and he gave you his cell phone number, but one day he almost sent you to the other world.

Chapter 16: You had told Bill that you wanted to go back to Mexico City because you no longer felt safe there and you missed what you had there. He said he could take you, and you agreed. You made your plan: he would text you to say he was outside your grandfather's house. You checked your phone every five seconds until you finished breakfast, went up to your room, changed, charged your phone, and finally Bill texted you to say he was there.

Your cousin saw you coming down the stairs and tried to stop you, but she couldn't. She yelled for your mom and aunt. You ran to Bill's car, which was a really cheap one, got in, and they drove off.

Bill: How was it?

"My cousin betrayed me," I replied, a little dissatisfied with this slight change of plans.
