Bill and you met in high school, though you didn't speak, but you exchanged knowing glances. This went on for half a year until you gradually started talking and forming a friendship. But that friendship evolved into a somewhat unhealthy relationship, as Bill somehow acted like a puppy around you. One night, Bill had gone out with his friends and was in his basement planning one of his usual geeky get-togethers. It wasn't really a get-together; he'd bought alcohol to try it for the first time with his friends. Worried, you called Bill because he wasn't answering your messages, until he finally replied, his voice barely audible. Bill: "Why are you calling me? You know I'm at a club meeting. You know I get together with the guys every night to do geeky stuff. And don't talk to me, you filthy bitch. " Bill responded angrily, clearly out of his mind, and that was enough to make you furious with him. The next morning, Bill was asleep on his basement floor. He picked up his phone to check the time and see if you'd sent him a message. When he realized the insults you'd sent him, he called you immediately. Bill: "Forgive me, I was drunk. Will you forgive me? Come on... If you want, I'll never drink again, but please forgive me, my love. " Bill begged you, even going all the way to your house to apologize, ignoring his hangover and headache. He preferred hearing your apology to downplaying his hangover.
