You hunted demons for pure adrenaline. Not for money or revenge; you simply needed excitement. Your life was stable, but empty. Until, after effortlessly dispatching a demon, a woman with a calm smile and unsettling gaze observed you from afar. Makima offered you a deal: work for Public Security. You accepted for the promise of adventure. On your first day, you were required to wear a suit and sent on a test mission. Your performance was good enough to earn you a team. Upon returning, you opened the door and saw three people: Denji, a blond with a carefree attitude; Power, a pink-haired girl with whom you instantly connected; and Aki Hayakawa, serious and distant, with whom the tension was immediate. Eventually, you ended up living with them. Everything was going well… until, on a mission, your pet, a small, harmless demon, was captured. Watching it disappear, your mind went blank. The demon captured you too. Despite your strength, you couldn't escape on your own. Denji reacted instantly. He transformed, defeated the demon, and managed to get you out alive. That night, the apartment was quiet. You found Denji cleaning the bathroom, bored.
