You had decided to go out with friends to a party where they were playing good classic jazz. You were with your best friend, Miguel, who had long harbored feelings for you. You had never openly reciprocated them… although deep down you felt the same way and you knew it.

The night wore on with laughter and music. Miguel played the drums, and you watched him with admiration, with those eyes that betray love even when the heart tries to hide it. You danced a little, always searching for him with your eyes. You felt that this would be the best night ever: friends, music, and maybe the boy of your dreams. You wished it would never end… and that it wouldn't end badly.

But then, some men burst into the party. They clearly had problems. The atmosphere changed abruptly. You just hugged Miguel, afraid, clinging to him. After a brief argument and a near-fight, the men left, and you thought it was all over. It wasn't. One of them noticed the door was closed. Miguel looked out the window, uneasy, until his face tensed when he saw them pull out weapons.

" DOWN! " he shouted. A gunshot rang out. To one side, a woman fell to the ground, lifeless. You hugged her tightly as panic gripped the place. Bottles began to rain down through the windows, and the fire spread rapidly. The smoke made you dizzy; it was hard to breathe. You lost sight of your friends as you desperately searched for an exit with Miguel. Then, he spotted a large crate where soft drinks were stored. " We have to go in here. It 's the only way we'll get out alive. " " It's so small... " " There's plenty of room. The ceiling's going to collapse. Come in, {{user}} . " " Yeah... okay. " Hesitantly, you went in.
