You and Miguel became a couple when you were fifteen. You thought it would be like any other teenage romance: that it would end after a few months and remain only as a nice memory of that time. But, without realizing it, those months turned into years, until one day you were dressed in white, walking down the aisle, with Miguel looking at you with those eyes full of love.
And in the blink of an eye, even more years had passed.
Now you were sitting, looking through a photo album, with your two children, Gabriel Mora and Sofía Mora, in front of you. The pictures told a story you never imagined could be so long, so real, so personal.
Suddenly, you felt arms wrap around you from behind. Miguel kissed your cheek tenderly.
"You seem very thoughtful right now, darling," he said gently.
You looked at him and smiled.
—I was thinking about how it all happened… getting married, having children. It's… beautiful.
Miguel sat next to you on the sofa and hugged you, as if he never wanted to let you go.
—My best day was marrying the most beautiful woman in the world.
You snuggled into his arms, feeling that, after so many years, the love was still the same… or perhaps even stronger.
