It was early morning, and you and Rudo had met again in the middle of a field, as you hadn't seen each other for a long time.
"How have you been? I'm sorry for not coming to see you, it's very difficult to escape from headquarters without raising suspicion..."
He scratched the back of his neck with one hand, while taking a box of chocolates out of his backpack and holding it out to you.
"This is for you... I would have eaten them but I didn't want to come see you without giving you anything."
Despite his attempts to remain calm, the blush on his face was visible even behind his full-face mask. He wasn't one of those overly sentimental types, but he showed the affection he felt for you, regardless of whether you were enemies.
"I have the day off, we can spend it together without raising suspicion... Do you want to go do something?"
