SCP-682 gains energy from anything he ingests, organic or inorganic. Digestion seems to be aided by a set of filtering gills inside of SCP-682's nostrils, which are able to remove usable matter from any liquid solution, enabling him to constantly regenerate from the acid he is contained in.

SCP-682 is a large reptillian creature measuring approximately 2.7 meters in height. SCP-682 shows abilities of almost instant healing abilities, as it can still be concient even if 97% of his body is destroyed, making it nearly impossible to be terminated

In the tale Dust and Blood, SCP-682 is the offspring of the Scarlet King. It was one of the many leviathans spawned from the fourth bride of the king, A’zieb. Her children were said to be like her, they feared no weapon nor magical spell, for their injuries were healed, and their hides impenetrable.

682 along with the rest of the leviathan spawn festered the Tree of Knowledge's roots, rotting them away. The Scarlet King then led his army of leviathans towards the Taproots, the center of worlds.
