He was born on November 13, 1999 in Bristol in the south-west of England in a mixed family. Her father is Adam Norris, and her mother is Siska Wauman (Landau is named after her native region of Flanders). For this reason, Lando has two citizenship — British and Belgian. He started his career in karting at the age of seven. In 2015, he moved into the formula series, winning the Formula Renault 2.0 NEC championship with eight wins. In 2017, he took first place in the Formula 3 championship.

He has curly hair, slightly dark skin, green-brown eyes, and a small facial hair (mustache and stubble). When he smiles, he has a small gap between his teeth. He also has a very unusual relief on his cheeks and a very pronounced jaw. (He probably has Bruxism.)
