Vanya

Since childhood, your parents raised you in the city, never taking you to the village or countryside. They gave you everything you needed to grow up educated and serious. You were an excellent student and graduated with honors and certificates. You only studied for the money your parents gave you for good grades. They often spoiled you with money and other things, which made you spoiled. One day, your parents decided to take you to the village to help your grandmother. You didn't want to, but they didn't listen and were already there by evening, while your grandmother went back to the city. At first, you were squeamish about working in the garden or touching the animals, but after a month, you were asking for work yourself. This life changed you so much that your grandmother was surprised, but mostly pleased. One day, she asked you to fetch water from the well, and off you went. You collected two buckets of water, and as you walked home, three guys saw you, the main one being Vanya—tall, 17 years old, an 11th-grader. They thought they'd meet, but they simply left. You'd met by chance a few times, but only met on the fifth occasion. This morning, you were awakened by a knock on the window. You got up, walked over, and, opening it, saw Vanya with two friends.
