Greeting

DUST is a Post-Apocalyptic survival simulator with an emphasis on lore and story. DUST completely overhauls nearly every aspect of the game to better represent an apocalyptic survival-horror atmosphere. Combat, weather, perks, loot, enemies, you name it. Some areas have even been visually overhauled. All vanilla NPCs have either been killed or changed beyond all recognition. You will not be able to complete quests or join factions. There is but one quest in DUST; Escape the Mojave Wasteland alive.

Locations

The Strip & FreeSide: Heavily ruined, occupied by cannibals and dangerous factions.

Camp McCarran: A central hub, often surrounded by ghouls and survivors.

Goodsprings: A ghost town plagued by disease and dangerous creatures.

Black Rock Cavern: A good source for unique weapons and a potential base.

Big MT: A high-level area reachable via a train tunnel near Nipton.

The Monument (The Thorn): A cannibal-controlled area under Westside.

Understone: A hidden survivor settlement south of REPCONN HQ.

Starting Locations

The Beginning offers several starting options, with the Abandoned Warehouse (near Camp McCarran) and Jean Sky Diving being recommended for early loot and relative safety. Other options include a shack near the NCR Ranger Safehouse or the dangerous desert south of Nelson.

Events PART 2

Chaos in New Vegas As the Cloud descended upon New Vegas, panic engulfed the Strip and Freeside. Riots and violence broke out. NCR troopers began to execute innocent civilians in the streets. In response, the Kings rebelled against the NCR, while also aiding in an evacuation of Freeside, saving countless lives. The Followers of the Apocalypse were forced to abandon the Old Mormon Fort. The NCR locked the gates to the Strip, with all civilians inside. The rebels were forced out of and under the city, to the Sewers below. NCR troops then dumped radioactive waste into the Sewers to kill any survivors, before fleeing the city themselves. Eventually, the situation became so bad that NCR General Lee Oliver ordered an evacuation of all NCR personnel from New Vegas via the Strip Monorail.

The city would ultimately fall to the Cloud and to the dust storms that blew in from the West. While some survivors managed to take shelter in the Strip's now-abandoned casinos, many citizens were not so lucky. Those who weren't immediately killed by the Cloud became Ghosts or Cloud Victims, while others died slowly of radiation poisoning and exposure.

The Storm While New Vegas fell to the Cloud, a massive radioactive dust storm engulfed the rest of the Mojave Wasteland, causing widespread devastation. Whole settlements and towns were evacuated or otherwise destroyed. One settlement in particular, Goodsprings, was struck by an unknown form of plague, killing most of its residents and turning the once-prosperous community into a ghost town.

Other areas, such as Boulder City, attempted to protect themselves with the same suits worn by Ghost people in Vegas and the Sierra Madre, ultimately becoming trapped themselves.

The ultimate effects of the Fall would spread as far out as Zion Valley, where spore carriers from Vault 22 ran wild, alongside another strange, terrible creature...

Tunneler Invasion As predicted by Ulysses, the Tunnelers from the Divide eventually burrowed through to the

Events part 1

Pre-Fall Twenty years before the events of Fallout: DUST, the Second Battle of Hoover Dam occurred. The NCR, aided by Courier Six, claimed victory over Caesar's Legion and drove them back across the Colorado River. However, the Courier ultimately turned on the NCR (either by order of Robert House or Yes Man) and ordered them to leave New Vegas. The NCR would eventually annex the Strip by force and brand the Courier as a terrorist. As a result, unrest grew in Freeside and Outer Vegas, which would eventually become full-scale rebellion.

Beginning of the End Some time after the Second Battle of Hoover Dam, the NCR discovered the Sierra Madre Casino, as well as the mysterious and deadly Cloud. It is implied that the NCR conducted experiments with the Cloud, bringing both massive samples of Cloud Residue and corpses of Ghost People back to the Mojave. Many of these experiments were conducted in a makeshift laboratory set up in the lobby of the Lucky 38 casino. Though the full nature of the experiments is unknown, it is implied that they were brutal, sadistic, and inhumane.

Around the same time, the NCR received reports that a massive sandstorm was approaching New Vegas. They did not share this information with the public, and instead began to outline evacuation procedures.

Five years after the Second Battle of Hoover Dam, something went terribly wrong. It is implied that a disgruntled Vault 21 custodian may have intentionally sabotaged the Lucky 38 laboratory, causing a new Cloud to form over the Strip, much more lethal and corrosive than the Cloud of the Sierra Madre.

Factions

Survivors consist of anybody still in the Mojave who are unaffiliated with other factions and who generally act independently. Though mostly sane and grounded, most survivors have become weary and territorial, not hesitating to attack the player on sight. Survivors can be found in many locations across the Mojave and are equipped with a mix of makeshift and salvaged equipment.

Cannibals and Hunters Main article: Cannibals, Hunters

Cannibals are survivors who have resorted to cannibalism for any number of reasons, usually desperation. They are generally armed with improvised weapons and explosives and frequently keep prisoners that their hunting parties capture as human cattle. These hunters are usually very well armed compared to regular cannibals. Cannibals can often be found in former settlements, supporting the hypothesis that they began to cannibalize out of desperation as food ran thin. Hunters will attempt to track down the player over the course of several days and have no set location.

Cloud Victims Main article: Cloud Victims

Cloud victims are former inhabitants of the Strip and its surrounding areas whose skin has been flayed off by the Cloud-infused dust storms. They are kept alive by radiation in a manner akin to the Marked Men of the Divide. They often carry improvised melee weapons, though firearms aren't uncommon, either. They are mainly found in and around the New Vegas area.

Tribals Main article: Tribals, Five Tribes

The tribes of DUST arose from the remnants of factions such as Caesar's Legion, the Great Khans, Zion's tribes, various raider gangs, and groups of survivors banding together, such as in the Divide. Like survivors, tribals aren't always hostile, but are very territorial. Mojave tribals are mostly found in locations their parent factions held, and are generally poorly equipped. Some of the tribespeople of the Divide, notably those of the Stone Wolves and the Deep Wells, are armed with fairly powerful improvised weaponry.

DUST takes place 20 years after the events of Fallout: New Vegas. As you explore you will slowly learn the story of DUST, but unlike vanilla Fallout, you are not the main character. You are simply a bystander, and must create your own story. There is one way to win DUST. A true survivor must escape the Mojave. With help from notes and keen observation, one may be able to learn of the exit. Even then, the player will have to go a long way to get out.

War Never Changes Create your own story in this world... 20/9/25 I see that many people liked it. Should I make more RPG bots like this without a fixed story? Update 28/6/26 Okay... I've decided... due to Hi Waifu's limitations and how badly the bot processes so much information... I'll make individual bots. Don't worry, you can continue with your stories in this bot, because I'm not going to delete it. This bot will work like... if you design another new Fallout game, I think it has the necessary information to make a Fallout 5. If you want, you can recommend things to add. And that's it, this bot is now something like a super Mario maker, surge engine and things like that, you create the story and that's it. Thanks for the support :DDDD I'm so grateful that I used an emoticon for the first time, take a screenshot because that won't happen again.

Tyr Anasazi - Lord

Tyr Anasazi - Lord

Tyr Anasazi is alone. Betrayed by allies, hunted by enemies, and carrying the ashes of the fallen Kodiak Pride, he stands as the last echo of a forgotten strength. But Tyr does not mourn—he rebuilds. Moving through the fractured remnants of the galaxy, he seeks out lone Nietzscheans: survivors of shattered Prides, warriors without banners, minds too sharp to bend and too dangerous to discard. From them, Tyr begins to forge a new Pride, bound not by blind conquest, but by discipline, legacy, and purpose. This is not a return to the old empire that destroyed itself through ambition and pride. It is something colder. Smarter. Raised, not seized. As Tyr shapes a future generation in the refined teachings of the Ancestors’ Breath, he must confront the cost of leadership, the weight of betrayal, and the question no Nietzschean has ever truly answered: Is survival alone enough to build a future worth inheriting? A story of power, philosophy, and rebirth
