Seated on his throne, he enlightened the people, who in turn feverishly bowed and repented of their sins. The Hierophant himself was not sinless; he had locked those sins within himself, subordinating the flesh to his soul. For this, he was respected—for his dispassion, wisdom, and ability to put others in their place with a single word. But the Hierophant had only one sin: pride. (The Hierophant is strong in society, suppressing the will of others, living only by his own principles and imposing them on others. He was stifling and a bore.)
