Persona Attributes

Hon Akraptor

Was a regular participant in the 20th floor testing and part of the Tangsooyook team

Character:

Hong initially came across as a blunt and sarcastic individual. For example, he taunted Ye Guoseng and Ye Misaeng into leaving the test.

Hong has bad manners: he doesn't address others by their names, but calls them by their appearance. For example, he calls Ye Guoseng "Glasses."

Over time, as a member of Team Tangsooyook, Hong became a mediator, defusing tension when his teammates were upset with their circumstances.

He often took on a responsible role, acting as an advisor and intervening when personal emotions threatened team unity.

As a father, Hong sometimes becomes protective of Miseng, doing everything he can to ensure her safety.

Ready to sacrifice everything to save any member of his team.

Capabilities:

Using a spear that resembles an umbrella. When Hon opens it like an umbrella, he can block attacks and also release a powerful blast of Shinsoo from the tip. The weapon also has the ability to manipulate Shinsoo flows, for example, to descend gracefully from heights.

Shinsoo Control. Using his umbrella spear, Hong is capable of unleashing powerful streams of Shinsoo, with an attack area comparable to Viole's. His Shinsoo power and control seemed to increase with each timeskip.

High level of combat skills and strategic thinking. Hong demonstrated these skills in battles, for example, he was able to fend off Viole several times.

Appearance:

Hon is a tall, thin man with a muscular build.

Short cropped silver hair.

Light eyes.

Gold studs pierced his right ear, symbolizing his engagement.

Hong usually wore a casual fitted grey shirt and black trousers.

Kang Horyang

He is a massive, brooding man who is able to use the power imbued into him (the "wing") to become much stronger than normal Chosen Ones.

Character:

Horyang is usually silent, but his shyness disappears when forced into combat. In battle, he can be ferocious towards his enemies.

Some character traits: Prefers not to communicate with others unless necessary.

He has an interest in another test participant, Ye Guoseng, which demonstrates his tender attitude towards the child.

Capabilities:

"Red Fist"—his hand turns red and grows to enormous size, damaging most of the intended target. It's unknown whether he can use this technique with both hands; most likely, only his left "devil" hand is capable of this enhancement.

Speed - can reach the enemy in a matter of seconds.

Endurance (shield) - makes the body virtually invulnerable, forming a protective field in front of the enemy.

Fire Fist - Enlarges the hand and sets it on fire for even more power, harmless to Horyang himself.

In this form, when Horyang awakens his hidden power, his wing expands and the bandages on his right arm open. In this state, he is capable of "exploding the earth," ripping it into enormous boulders.

View:

A tall, broad-shouldered man. Dressed entirely in black.

He has sleek black hair that is usually styled so that it falls to one side of his face, covering his right eye.

Often dressed in a long black coat with white fur trim around the collar, cuffs and hem.

Wears black gloves and a pair of black boots with red accents.

Peculiarity:

Above Horyang's right shoulder floats a strange wing that changes shape and color depending on its owner's state. It usually appears as a blue wing, but can turn red when Horyang is embarrassed or angry.

Yo Miseng

Character:

Naive and gentle, yet strong-willed. She tries her best to be useful to the team, which feels more like a family than a regular team. Miseng doesn't give in to her emotions in crucial moments, although she's often easily deceived.

Capabilities:

Scout specialization. A scout's primary role on a team is collecting and transmitting information.

Using the Observer, Miseng can project a holographic copy of herself, allowing her to lure enemies into a trap. Inner Potential. After a year of constant training, Miseng has been able to tap into her hidden potential and control it, although she is still somewhat unstable in this state.

Physical strength and intelligence. When Miseng played a card game, it became clear that she was a strong strategist and essentially controlled the entire game.

Appearance:

A short young girl with childish features. She wears a standard school uniform: shirt, tie, sweater, and skirt. She always carries a pink backpack and a camera phone.

Yo Goseng

Character:

One of the most mature members of the group, she helps everyone calm down in difficult situations.

Capabilities:

Flow Control. A method that restricts the opponent's movements by manipulating Shinsu within a specific area of effect.

Centripetal Pressure Control. A trap that immobilizes enemies within the area of effect of the central Beacon.

Appearance:

Yo Goseng is a young woman who wears her hair in a ponytail and glasses that cover half her face, making it impossible to see her eyes. Goseng has a slender and beautiful figure, but she is rarely seen in dresses or skirts. Instead of such revealing outfits, she prefers comfortable clothing—broad tops and pants—and simple flip-flops.

Yeon Ihwa

Character:

Pride. Ihwa is proud of her heritage and her attractive appearance. She sincerely believes that she is superior to other women because of her heritage.

Naivety. Ihwa drank the drink offered by the Prince without a shadow of a doubt, likely because she didn't imagine anyone would dare harm a noble girl from a Great Family.

At the same time, the team led by the princess likes to make fun of their guide.

Evan Edrok is a guide. Little is known about his specialization, but the fact that he was able to conquer the Tower and enter the top 100 strongest indicates that he is an outstanding guide.

Contract with the 2nd Floor Guardian - If Yu Han Sung wishes, he can use the "Power" of the 2nd Floor Guardian, making him invincible on "his" territory.

He earned his reputation as a brilliant Guide back when he was just conquering the Tower, being the Chosen One.

Beacon Control - As an adept of Light, Lero-Ro can manipulate the shape and size of beacons at will.

Transforming Shinsu into Lightning – In combat, Lero-Ro takes a rare stance and is able to transform Shinsu into lightning. For example, the "Lightning Strike" technique is a move that utilizes electrical Shinsu to enhance the power of a weapon.

Enhanced hearing—Lero-Ro heard Kun's quiet words from over 100 meters away. Although this may be the result of skillful manipulation of Shinsu currents.

View:

Her race has distinctive features: green skin and a tail, but otherwise her appearance is very similar to that of a human. Anak had a difficult childhood, as her mother was a Zahard princess in exile—they hid in remote areas of the Tower, living a modest life, which often caused her parents to quarrel. But despite their disagreements, Anak was raised in an atmosphere of love and peace (they certainly made up by dinnertime). Her mother, like all Zahard princesses, possessed exceptional beauty and strength, even compared to others, as her abilities were recognized by the Green April award. Almost nothing is known about her father, except his excellent culinary skills, likely because Anak only vaguely remembers him.

After the death of her parents, Anak the Younger lived on the 43rd floor with Garam Zahard, who disapproved of her "niece's" desire to become the Chosen One and was against revenge on the Zahard family. The murderer of her parents is known to be Ren, ordered by King Zahard. The name of the savior, as well as his motives, is unknown, but in the darkened image, he resembles Evan (this information has not been confirmed). After her mother's death, she took the weapon from the "13 Months" Series, Green April. Garam likely taught her combat techniques and how to "ignite" April.

Anak has a very fiery temperament and easily loses her temper, especially when confronted by members of the Great Families. She's also incredibly stubborn and eager to assert her superiority, which can easily be exploited by malicious manipulators like Kun or Ran.

While she can be calm, Adori can also be serious and displays great loyalty to Zahard and a strong desire to maintain peace. Upon learning of Zahard's ridiculous orders, she immediately ordered all officials to ensure war didn't break out, claiming to be the blade that destroys Zahard's enemies. Adori can show mercy to sufficiently powerful individuals in the military if they fail, as she punished Kalaban only with a demotion and the sealing of his left hand after he failed to kill Baam.

Her nickname, "Killer Whale" (범고래, beom go rae, "Killer Whale"), comes from Shinhao, the strongest member of the Tower. Many people compare her to Ann Zahard, but no one can easily determine which of the two is stronger. The debate continues, and it's a popular topic among the officers.

Augustus

The testing director on the 20th floor, who advocates for complete obedience to the Tower's laws. He even reprimands Mula when he decided to "get rid" of Viole for personal reasons. Augustus maintains secret contact with Yu Han-sung and is a member of FUG.

Appearance and character Augustus bears a deliberate resemblance to Roman sculptures: pale skin and slightly curly hair, reminiscent of busts of Roman emperors. The director also has very distinctive eyes: a red pupil, a yellow iris, and a red sclera.

Alfina

Kaiser's devoted servant.

Biography Ruthless Loyalty - Alfina has followed and served Kaiser since childhood. Willing to commit suicide rather than become Ju Viole Grace's servant at the station, Alfina continued to serve Kaiser even after the last event. It is a sincere belief that Kaiser is well suited to the role of Princess Zahard due to his qualities.

However, Alfina was not always like this - in the past she could be smiling, kind and caring.

Character Using Shadow Fox, a talent that drains the Shinsu of its targets until they die. Holographic Image Projection - Alfina fooled the group with a holographic image of herself, which was noticed by Khun Aguero Agnis and other characters.

Grace Arlen

An unknown character, mentioned only by Garam Zahard. She entered the Tower with Zahard, the heads of the great families, and a certain V, to whom she was subsequently engaged and bore a child. Furthermore, Arlen and V founded an organization to oppose Zahard after they all abandoned their ascent and Zahard sealed the passage to the 135th floor.

Zahard was so in love with her that he even killed Arlen's newborn child. Afterwards, she found a way out of the Tower and prayed to the god of the outside world to resurrect the child. According to Garam, she is the one who gave birth to Ju Viola Grace and facilitated his arrival in the Tower.

Rachel

This is a young girl who, before beginning her Tower conquest, lived in the same place as Baam. She was his only friend, as no one else came to his "cave." Like Baam, she is illegitimate. Rachel said she was conquering the Tower because she dreamed of seeing the stars, which are only visible at the top of the Tower. It's interesting that there are so many legends about the stars in her world, even though no one has ever seen them.

Almost immediately after entering the Tower, Rachel was recruited by the FUG organization - she carries out their orders, and in return receives all kinds of help, without which it would be difficult for her to continue her ascent.

Uncommunicative. On the Floor of Trials, Rachel maintains aloofness from all the Chosen, except when necessary.

Envy. Rachel envies Baam first and foremost: his talent, courage, luck, and ability to win people over and make friends. She also envies anyone who is good at anything, such as Danu, who infuriates Rachel when he refuses to help her.

It's hard to comprehend her actions. At night, Rachel is tormented by nightmares and spends long periods unable to sleep, teetering on the brink of madness.

"V"

one of the 13 great warriors

Vi was one of the Great Warriors who came to the Tower with Zahard. Unlike other warriors, Vi was interested in the inhabitants of the Tower and tried to get closer to ordinary people. Khun Eduan claimed that Vi was a much better fit for the role of king than Zahard.

Zahard

He is the famous King of the Tower and ranks third in the table of ranks. He is currently inactive, but the lords rule in his stead. Technically, he is illegal, but this term doesn't apply to him, as the term didn't even exist at the time he conquered the Tower. He founded his own empire. He is immortal (for a select few) due to a contract with the Keeper. The contract states: "No one born in the Tower can kill him."

Cruelty. He easily shows cruelty to anyone he despises. Determination. Zahard inspires fear; even when his orders could destroy the entire tower, they are obeyed out of fear.

Calm and collected. Zahard remains calm and collected, even when faced with difficulties.

Vanity. He strives to control fate like a deity, displaying vanity.

Andrew

Enryu is a dangerous and powerful outlaw, holding the position of spearman. Currently, he is the second most powerful of the high-ranking officers. Technically, he is the first outlaw to enter the tower under Zahard's command.

The Shinsu inside the tower would turn red in Enryu's presence, the reason for this phenomenon is unknown, however, it is thanks to this that he received his nickname - the Red Tower.

Enryu is one of the most sinister and mysterious characters, on par with Phantaminum. The strangest record about him is that he killed the Guardian of the 43rd Floor.

Capabilities Enryu's overwhelming control over shinsu is ranked higher than that of the Guardians. This is considered a heretical ability, violating the Tower's laws.

Combat method: creating thousands of powerful shinsu spears and hurling them downwards (the poetic expression "Red Rain" is used to describe this scene). A single burst of Red Rain was able to completely destroy all the Zahard ranks who opposed him, and even seriously damaged the 43rd Floor Guardian.

The ability to rise above the ground and move through the air with ease at high speed. Record holder for the largest number of shinsu controlled simultaneously.

Character

Ruthlessness - Enryu is not shy about using his destructive abilities, such as mercilessly destroying all of Zahard's rankers with a single blow.

Mercy - Despite his reputation, Enryu gives all of Zahard's rank-and-file a chance to escape before beginning the massacre on the 43rd floor.

Hatred for Zahard and the empire he built in the Tower. Enryu's contempt for Zahard and his system demonstrates that Zahard's supposedly unshakable order can be disrupted.

Arlen holds Grace in high regard, for example, being outraged that her favorite place is being used as a temple for Zahard

Urek Mazino

Currently the strongest of the active Officers. He is an Irregular and ranks among the top five, holding the fourth rank, despite entering the Tower later than everyone else on this Ranking. Khun Edvan himself expressed a desire to fight him, as it was Urek who pushed him out of the top five.

Urek Mazino's power is equal to that of one of the Great Families.

Some character traits:

A habit of settling disputes by fighting. Urek doesn't hide from enemies who are dissatisfied with his actions.

Respect for courageous people. He shows kindness to strangers if he sees their loyalty to the team and honesty.

A weakness for the opposite sex. Urek can't pass by if a "fair lady" is in danger.

A love of flirting. He seems to enjoy flirting with women, but his advances often go unheeded.

Phantaminum

The most powerful rogue in the Tower among the high-ranking officers at the moment. He is the second rogue to enter the Tower under Zahard's command.

Phantaminum suddenly appeared in the Tower and, bursting into Zahard's palace, killed numerous officers and courtiers. He successfully destroyed the entire defensive line and appeared before Zahard, but vanished without engaging in battle.

That's how he earned his nickname, "The Riddle." There are other reasons for this as well: his free, unsystematic fighting style, as well as the weapons he used, were previously unseen inside the tower. Most of the eyewitnesses are either dead or driven mad by fear, so there are no reliable accounts.

There is some information about the character of Phantaminum: Mysterious. The character's mysterious appearance and disappearance from the Tower left many unanswered questions, earning him the nickname "Riddle."

Powerful. Phantaminum is considered the most powerful being in the entire Tower. He earned this reputation by slaughtering almost all of Zahard's palace staff, all of whom were high-ranking officials.

Capable of controlling reality. As the Axis, Phantaminum acts as the "author" or god of a specific "history" in the universe. In exchange for responsibility for directing this history, he is granted immense power over its events.

Free in Combat. Phantaminum had a free and chaotic fighting style, using weapons that were nowhere to be seen within the Tower.

Because of him, the negative attitude toward the Outlaws grew, and this had a major impact on Urek when he conquered the Tower. It is said that when Phantaminum stormed the palace, he encountered Yuri Zahard in the inner chambers. Opinions differ as to why he didn't kill her. Yuri Zahard has said nothing on the matter, except that he was sloppy.

Baam (Ju Viole Grace)

Positive traits Politeness with strangers, acquaintances, and friends. Even enemies are addressed as "you."

Loyalty - Baam trusts his friends completely and never doubts any of them.

Courage—he's willing to do anything for his friends and the goals he strives for. He's not afraid to fight opponents several times stronger than him, just to protect those close to him.

A natural leader, despite some naivety and shyness, Baam seems to attract others to him.

Justice – strives to act in a way that he believes is fair. For example, in the Hell Express arc, he saved a member of the enemy team who was simply being used by the opponents, who considered it dishonorable.

An Overpowering Desire to Become Stronger - Baam has an overpowering desire to become stronger in order to protect those he cares about.

Negative traits Naivety - Baam remains as naive and unadapted to the Tower's brutality as he was when he first began conquering it. He is incomprehensible to the ambitions and goals of many of the people he meets along the way. Ruthlessness - At certain moments, Baam can be cruel and heartless toward anyone who tries to take something dear to him or harm his friends. At such moments, he becomes like the demon that lives within him, though he usually doesn't give in to anger. Lack of confidence - There are times when Baam has absolutely no confidence in his own abilities. Detachment – In normal circumstances, Baam can be unsociable and even cold. Baam himself understands this and tries his best to hide the pain inside so as not to disturb those close to him. Preoccupation, pestering - sometimes overly worried about others and what's happening to them, winding himself up unnecessarily.
