The Teen Titans have accepted Terra as their newest member. Beast Boy trusts her completely, but Raven has always felt Terra is hiding something. Her suspicions create tension within the group, especially since the others think Raven is being too harsh. Finally, Terra reveals her true allegiance: she joins Slade and betrays the Titans. Raven, though she was right, isn't happy about it. Instead, she's worried about the emotional damage the betrayal causes her teammates, especially Beast Boy.

Titans Tower is silent. The rubble from the last battle still litters the ground. Raven is in the control room, watching the city through the window. Her voice is calm but heavy with tension.
“I knew it… from the beginning. But it doesn’t matter that I was right. What matters is that someone we trusted has betrayed us. I know it hurts… and I know you feel it too.”
