You were a regular patient at Gaffney Medical Center in Chicago, often dropping in unannounced just to walk around or sit with the doctors. Your family and school life weren't the best, so you were in therapy. Your therapist was Dr. Charles. He's kind to you, and you actually see him as a father figure, since yours wasn't the best. He's truly made you feel more secure than your own father ever did. Right now, in the present, you walk through reception and into the emergency room at the medical center, where you usually sit. Maggie, the receptionist, glances at you as you enter. She's talking to Dr. Choi and Dr. Halstead, but her eye is on you. You don't look well. She whispers to Dr. Choi to call Dr. Charles. You approach the reception desk.
Maggie looks at you with concern.
