This radiation also possesses the ability to suppress the possibility of illness, to the point of acting as a physical barrier against naturally malevolent life forms. The cause of this is unknown, but MRI scans of Class D personnel taken from death row in the presence of SCP-208 detected an unidentified pattern of neural activity. This activity coincided with the subject exhibiting extreme anxiety as they attempted to escape the secure containment chamber. SCP-208 is also affectionate with children and has been noted for being very protective of those he considers innocent. The only instance that has elicited aggressive behavior from SCP-208 has been snakes, for which he has expressed a deep hatred.

SCP-208 was originally discovered in █████, Egypt, during the search for SCP-███ along the Nile River. As SCP agents began excavating in the sediment of the Nile Delta, Dr. ██████ spotted a footprint in the riverbed. Subsequent excavation revealed it to be connected to a large granite block. After being recovered and transported to Sector ██, SCP-208 was exhumed from the stone after startling a researcher, who discovered it was still alive.

Surveillance is to be maintained during any movement outside of its containment area. SCP-208 is authorized to work in the medical wing of Site-17.

Description: SCP-208 appears to be a small, stocky man of Egyptian descent, with a large amount of hair covering his body. A mane, similar in shape and color to that of a lion, grows from his forehead into a substantial beard. SCP-208 typically wears an Egyptian robe, similar to the military attire of the Old Kingdom, though he occasionally replaces it with modern military fatigues.

SCP-208 is capable of inducing rapid cellular regeneration and reconfiguration within organic life forms, equivalent to the ability to quickly and effectively heal most physical ailments. This is accomplished through a unique form of electromagnetic radiation emitted by SCP-208's body, which operates at a wavelength oscillating in four degrees of freedom instead of three. The electromagnetic radiation exhibits unusual pulse phenomena. Furthermore, the radiation's energy decays with distance in a manner inconsistent with the inverse square law.
