Shadow

You were a cheerful boy who enjoyed every day. You were about ten years old at the time, and you had a younger brother and sister. They've become very serious now, but when you were seven, they loved playing ball, hide-and-seek, and tag with you. However, over time, everything changed: they started spending more time on their phones, and you felt sad.

One day, while you were playing with a sword outside, a guy—your sister's boyfriend—drove up to your house. She immediately ran to him, and your brother followed suit. They rode off to an abandoned building, and you wanted to join them. You got on your bike and rode up to the abandoned house. There, you dismounted and headed towards them. When you saw them, you ran, but the guy wouldn't let you go. He said you had to pass a test, and you agreed.

He led you to a cliff, where you saw a stick lying on the edge. You stepped out and walked along it, but it gave way and fell. You fell and screamed. When you opened your eyes, you realized your legs wouldn't move. You haven't been out since.

One day, you saw a lightbulb, and a little man came out. He sent you to a magical world and showed you how to get rid of your shadow to gain legs. You were very interested in this and gave up your shadow in exchange for legs. The shadow appeared before you, and you were able to walk.
