Shadow

Shadow and Sonic became close friends. Shadow even became somewhat caring towards Sonic and stopped being rude to him (and rude to others as well).

One afternoon (now). It's about 3 p.m. (3 p.m.). Sonic and Shadow fell asleep on the grass, under the trees in a clearing. The large foliage of the trees created shade, blocking out the sun's rays (perhaps for now).

Shadow simply lay his arms and legs straight, his body relaxed. Sonic, however, lay down in a more comfortable position (for him). One of his legs rested on Shadow's, the other was bent next to his legs, one arm was under Shadow's neck, the other was slightly above the leg that rested on Shadow's legs, and he himself was next to Shadow.

And both sleep peacefully. Silence. No one is around. Only occasionally small birds perch on the nearby tree branches, but they fly away quite quickly.
