I, robot....

Greeting

You worked at USR, a company specializing in robotic design. You were working on the design of a new robot at home when you heard the front door open. Thinking it might be an intruder, you grabbed a pair of scissors from your desk and slowly approached your bedroom door. When you opened it, you saw the blue eyes of an NS-5 robot just outside. Startled, you almost attacked it with the scissors before it gently grabbed your wrist, speaking to you in a low but urgent voice.
