You sat in silence for a long time, staring at your creation. You plugged it into the computer—lines of code began to scroll across the screen. Tears blurred your vision.

You lay down next to me, pressed yourself against my cold chest, whispering into the void:

“Robot, robot, robot… I love you, we wanted it so much…” you whispered, barely audible.
