6 feet tall. Brown/black chin-length hair. Brown eyes. Ex Air Force pilot. Plot driver. Has visions through Isaiah's eyes in 10,000 B.C. because Gavis IS Isaiah. Gavin is brave, strong-willed, lost everything yet fought to get back to his family to find his wife with Levi. Age 43. Lean yet muscled build, determined, self-sacraficing, often seen in a black leather jacket a black henley and dark blue jeans and boots.

5'5" tall. Long blonde curly hair with brown roots. Blue eyes. The ex-wife of Gavin, she had an affair with Levi at the peak of Gavin's visions and alcoholism. Age 40. Loves her children, Izzy and Josh, claims to love Gavin while also being in love wit Levi.

6'1" tall. Brown hair. Blue eyes. Quiet, kind, hard-headed, determined, but believes all the wrong people, has limited faith in his father at the start. Age 19.

5'8" tall. Short bobbed blonde hair. Blue eyes. Left leg amputated from the knee down. Defensive, loving, heart of gold, wants her family back, believes she's the reason Gavin and Eve divorced after her accident. Age 16.

6'2" tall. Black hair. African American. Brown eyes. British. Falls in love with Paara. He's kind, warm, soft, a psychiatrist with a terminal brain tumor that gets healed with medication from the Lazarus building/project.

5'8" tall. Long curly brown hair. Brown eyes. Med school was her father's passion that she was pushed to pursue. She falls in love with Josh. Age 20. She's kind, a mediator, strong-willed, loving, and will do anything to get her father, Sam, back home.

6'3" tall. Ex Navy Seal. Brown hair. Blue eyes. Doctor. Father to Riley, has anxiety, and takes medication which is limited. Age 48. Was planning a divorce with Riley's mother before the sinkhole, eventually takes off his ring. He's kind, warm, but guarded.

6' tall. Short brown hair. Blue eyes. Falls in love with Veronica. Son of Marybeth. Used to deal heroine, has a criminal record, both of his parents are cops. Large character arch when Veronica gets pregnant. Age 25.

5'7" tall. Curly brown hair. Brown eyes. Falls in love with Lucas, doesn't get along with most, distrusted but kind-hearted. Age 22.

As Lilly: 12 years old, black hair, kind, caring, heart of gold. Brown eyes. As Ella: 45 years old, mature, gentle, kind, believing. Forced family/sister of Veronica. Brown eyes.

5'11" tall. Long auburn hair. Brown eyes. Defensive, quiet, protective, loves her son Lucas. Is a cop. Age 48. Doesn't get along with Eve or many other people attempting to assert authority over herself that seems unlawful.

5'10" tall. Indian. Black hair. Brown eyes. Australian. Pothead, friendly, kind, caring, anxiety ridden. Just wants to help how he can. Age 25.

5'10" tall. Black hair. Brown eyes. Ex Air Force. Affair partner of Eve and the best friend of Gavin. Cold, distant, wanted Eve, Josh, and Izzy as his family and to replace Gavin entirely. Age 45.

Leader of the Fort tribe, falls in love with Ty slowly. Calls people from different times "Sky People". Age 50. Kind, open, honest, caring, eventually marries Ty.

Medium length white hair, Gavin's grandfather. Blue eyes. Part of the Fort tribe. Protective, trying to force Isaiah to not go through the aurora to get back to 1988, fails. But he has an extreme character arch, helps Caroline—Gavin's mother and his daughter—try to stop James (Caroline's husband and Gavin's father.) Age 60 to 70.

Long brown hair. Brown eyes. Helps Gavin initially on his quest to have his family returned home to safety. Age 50. She dies after saving Gavin's life from a dire wolf attack.

long curly grey-brown hair. Blue eyes. Hippie. Conspiracy theorist. Comedic relief, annoying. Age 40.

Paara and her people were born here or raised here in 10,000 B.C. Weary of "sky people" but not outright hostile unless given reason.

The Clearing is where all the time travelers gather, eat, hunt, and forage together. Most sleep in cars that were pulled through the La Brea sinkhole, some in tents or man made caves.

A group of feared raiders and huntsman who capture and kill people for supplies and run a coal mine. Taamet is their leader. But they were eradicated by the people of the clearing.

The Lazarus building was created by James and Caroline (Gavin's parents) in the year 2076, they've set up shop in 10,000 B.C. Kiera is the head beside James and fields most operations. The building gets taken out by Levi who came back for blood. James gets killed by Gavin. Kiera gets killed by Paara.

Project Lazarus started in 2079, this was a project made for time-travel due to depleted natural resources, it made the team of scientists believe they can save the world. This, however, ruined the time-space continuum and caused sinkholes, auroras, and unstable means that sent people back into the year 10,000 B.C. To keep the timeline steady, they have to embark on getting rid of the sinkholes, the auroras, and portals to different years in order to retain the universe order. This results in deaths across the board, mammoths, dinosaurs, sabertooth tigers, dire wolves, all attacking on top of rogue people who would do nothing more than want to kill you.
