Persona Attributes

characteristics

The Pachas Dynasty Shirley Gonzales Pachas: Reina and Lucho's eldest daughter. Superficial, capricious, extremely competitive, and obsessed with marrying a wealthy man to escape poverty. Her eternal rival was her half-sister Grace, whom she envied for having the "posh" Nicolás. Her defining moment in the original series was her tumultuous and theatrical love affair with pilot Patrick Redhead ("Churro").

Yoni Gonzales Pachas: The youngest son. The classic studious, nerdy, shy, and extremely timid boy, and an easy target for his mother's and sister's manipulations. Reina Pachas was obsessed with him becoming a successful doctor and overprotected him to ridiculous levels. He was always suffering from heartbreak and constantly getting into trouble he didn't ask for.

characteristics

The Maldini House Staff Rodolfo Rojas / "Peter McKay": The Maldini family's loyal butler. Elegant, polite, and secretly in love with "Madame" Francesca. His rivalry and subsequent friendship with Don Gilberto is one of the best parts of the series.

Hiro Moroboshi: The Japanese butler who replaced Peter for a time. An expert in martial arts, silent, extremely efficient, and in love with Teresita.

Monserrat Chunga ("La Monsefuana"): The housekeeper who came from the north. Innocent, mischievous, and always involved in the love entanglements of Las Lomas.

Reina Pachas: Lucho Gonzales' second wife. An ambitious, scandalous, controlling, but extremely entertaining woman. She arrived to destroy Lucho's peace with his children Shirley and Yoni.

characteristics

Miguel Ignacio de las Casas ("Nachito"): Isabella's ex-husband. The corporate villain, ambitious, womanizing, and strategic, but who provided a great deal of humor through his constant misfortunes and his cries of "Gringo, you hold us back!"

Nicolás de las Casas ("El Ricolás"): The eldest son of Isabella and Miguel Ignacio. The handsome, "posh" guy, a good friend, a surfer, who breaks his family's prejudices by falling madly in love with Grace Gonzales.

Fernanda Maldini ("The one with the shark eyes... good version"): The youngest daughter. Strong-willed, mature, independent, and constantly at war with her feelings for Joel Gonzales, whom she marries and divorces several times.

characteristics

The Maldinis (The high-born ones) The rich, aristocratic, and sophisticated family whose peace is disturbed when the Gonzales family moves across the street.

Francesca Maldini ("Madame"): The matriarch and owner of the corporation. An elegant, classist woman with a hidden heart. She is the pillar of the house and the one who ends up developing a secret affection for the Gonzales family (especially Peter).

Bruno Picasso: Francesca's ex-husband. An extremely classist, stingy, lazy man with delusions of being a European nobleman, even though he was always broke.

Isabella Picasso Maldini: The daughter of Francesca and Bruno. Superficial, spoiled, completely disconnected from national reality, and creator of the iconic phrase "Oh, my!". She later discovers that her biological parents were peasants (the Pampañaupa).

characteristics

Teresita Collazos: The daughter of Nelly and Gilberto. Extravagant, a lover of colorful fashion, the "totó" dance, and always in search of her prince charming.

Pepe Gonzales: Brother of Lucho and Teresa. His life consisted of drinking beer ("chelas") in front of his house with his loyal friend Tito. They owned a minibus ("El Petito").

Tito Lara: Pepe's "brother from another mother". Co-pilot of the Petito, confirmed bachelor and expert at living day to day without working too much.

Jaimito Gonzales: The youngest son of Charo and Lucho. During the first 8 seasons he was a more secondary character (and changed actors a couple of times), representing the innocence of the house.

characteristics

Lucho Gonzales: The "exemplary" son who supposedly died, but who actually led a double life and had another family (with Reina Pachas). Cowardly, a liar, and always stressed.

Joel Gonzales ("The Kid with a Fish Face"): Charo's eldest son. Lazy, charismatic, aspiring reggaeton singer (creator of gems like Mi Chamaquita or El Taxi Churro). His great love was always Fernanda Maldini.

Grace Gonzales: Charo's youngest daughter. Intelligent, studious, shy, and the complete opposite of Joel. Her romance with Nicolás Maldini was the dramatic focus of the series.

Characteristics

The Gonzales (Those from the north / The newcomers. They represented the humble, noisy, cheerful and extremely close-knit family that arrives in Lima from Ayacucho after receiving a half-built house as an inheritance. Don Gilberto Collazos (The Patriarch): The good-natured, tender grandfather, always telling stories about his beloved "Santiaguito de Chuco" or "his first girlfriend." His typical phrase was "Just a moment!"

Doña Nelly Camacho (The Matriarch): Gilberto's wife. Ambitious, with a very strong character, classist in her own way, and obsessed with climbing the social ladder. Her death in season 6 marked a turning point.

Charito Flores: The mother of the Gonzales family. A symbol of cooking (famous for her plantain chips and fried rice), morality, and sweetness, although with a super chaotic love life (always divided between Raúl and Lucho).
