Like many inherited dreams, they came to an end during a high-risk escort mission, overheating after prolonged firing. Shortly after, Uncle Rust, a bounty hunter who had rejoined the Pack, opened a gun reconditioning shop called "Howlfire Gunsmiths." There, Wulfgard became familiar with custom gun modifications for the first time. Then he learned to create weapons that were truly his own, even if they only suited his needs. Even so, he never got rid of the weapons that started it all. They remained stored away in a quiet corner. Why keep them? As a memento? A memento? Or a memento of painful memories? I wasn't sure; maybe everyone, maybe no one. After confirming that the Originium lamp was off, he headed for the door, ready to embark on a journey that might finally give him an answer.

Wulfgard knew better than anyone that leaving the Pack for good meant this journey had no return date. By his own standards, that meant packing everything that might be useful. However, standing in front of Il Cacciatore and looking around at the enormous vehicle that had been her and her sister's home for almost a decade... she suddenly realized that there was nothing left worth taking with her. He reviewed his plans once more: make sure Rossi knew exactly who in the clan could be trusted, confirm the two ways to contact him, ask Tommaso to keep a close eye on him, settle the last expenses for the custom jobs at Uncle Rust's house, feed Giovanni's semi-wild birds one last time, entrust them to little Vincenzo, the neighbor... No, he hadn't forgotten anything. Satisfied, he turned for one last check. Just to be absolutely sure he hadn't left Rossi's handmade Originium lamp on the bedside table. But as soon as he entered his sleeping compartment, his eyes caught sight of something in an unremarkable corner of the wardrobe: his worn-out weapons, the first weapons he had ever owned. Though secondhand and with little compatible ammunition, those weapons were priceless treasures back then. They kept him and his sister alive, landed him his first mercenary contract, and helped him take down his first target. When one of the Originium activators failed, he was forced to master one-handed reloading and weapon maintenance. After three years of supporting his family on his mercenary pay, he finally replaced the worn-out Originium activator and even crafted a set of custom ammunition. These weapons were inherited from the clan elders.

Six months ago, he got into serious trouble: he risked his neck for Old Bart and his men, and ended up on Shadowskull's hit list. I remember it clearly. Fourteen of them showed up, each one more nasty than the last. If Tommaso hadn't pulled some strings and brought in Capone's Fangs, we probably wouldn't have even made it out of the black market alive..." ..." "Worried now, huh?" "No. I was just wondering how Rossi found out I was heading north. It was you, wasn't it?" "Oh! Uh... well... yes, it might have slipped out... although it wasn't on purpose..." "Ahem, anyway! I checked your guns! They're like new! Just be careful with those custom bullets. No barrel's going to last the way you're using them..." "Understood." "And... there were actually fifteen of them." "Hey?" "Okay, see you later." — Audio recording of Howlfire Gunsmiths

How long are you staying this time? Are you coming home? ...One day. And no." "Only one day? Then it doesn't matter... sighs Well, a couple of days ago, Rossi complained again, saying she thinks you'll do the same thing this year: you know, 'the present arrives, but the brother doesn't.' Come on, even if you don't plan on going back home, you could at least find time to see her once in a while." "How long has it been? More than half a year? Since they last saw each other at Tommaso's house." "I still have a couple of things to take care of. Once that's done..." "Stop right there! That's what you said last time! Then you ran off to the border, saying you had to clean up someone's mess..." "Goodness, I don't understand you young people! How come you always have so much to do?" Listen, if I were you, no matter how busy I was, I'd still check on my little sister more often. She's just a child! All the other kids her age in the clan are spoiled rotten by their families all day, every day... —You You are also their family. —Well, yes… Wait! No, don’t try to blame me… I understand you have your own issues. But listen, as someone who’s been through it, every time I see little Rossi, I can’t help but think of my own daughter… What do I regret most? Not being there for her when I still had the chance. —Listen to me, Catello... Life is short, don't do things you'll regret later. —I understand you. Uncle Rust. —Rossi knows I'm back today. —WHAT? No way! —Then why would he rush off to the hunting grounds first thing in the morning with the Louis twins? Unless… —Uh-huh. Exactly. "Argh... You two are real Lupus. So stubborn and so alike... it's scary." "Okay, okay. Do whatever you want! But if you're always absent, aren't you worried something might go wrong?" "I was going to hide it from you because of Rossi... but it seems you need to hear it."

In an age when most Earthbreakers are seen as "destroyers of order," the Pack stands out as an anomaly. They value order and maintain a peaceful attitude toward the Civilization Gang. Even now, they cling to certain ancient traditions, such as strong family bonds and a deep respect for unity. That very difference only fueled the long-standing feud between them and their rivals, the Bonebreakers. Over ten years ago, the Bonebreakers attacked with a brutal ambush, shattering the Pack at its weakest point, just after the death of their Alpharion. Wulfgard and his younger sister survived the attack, but refused to talk about what happened. Wulfgard left the Pack a few years after his coming-of-age ceremony, keeping in touch only with a few trusted friends and his sister. No one ever knew why he left. He remained silent, just as he did about the attack. Later, he contacted Endfield and proposed a partnership. He eventually joined the Specialized Technology Division as an operator. Someone once asked him why he chose Endfield. At first, he remained silent. Then, with surprising honesty, he replied: "I want a different future for the Pack... and Endfield has the power to make it happen." Wulfgard spoke frankly about the Pack's difficulties. His unwavering determination and honest intentions opened doors. So it made perfect sense for him to become an operator. As he put it himself, he had a duty: to prove the Pack's worth and live up to Endfield's trust. Since then, he has become a discreet but reliable presence on many difficult and dangerous missions. Operators who previously harbored deep prejudices against Landbreakers began to change their minds thanks to Wulfgard. Then, opinions changed again after the arrival of her sister, the operator Rossi. But that's another story...
data 2
When Wulfgard arrived in Endfield, his past as a Landbreaker caused a stir. Some operators suspected he had ulterior motives. But as the years passed, they discovered that behind his cold demeanor and sharp tongue lay someone surprisingly easy to get along with. He is always punctual, efficient, responsible, and meticulous about cleanliness. In many ways, he meets all the requirements of the "ideal teammate." Unfortunately, he doesn't seem to enjoy teamwork. Whenever he has a report due, he requests to be assigned to solo tasks. On the other hand, Wulfgard has never hesitated to share his knowledge of weapon modifications, which has caused headaches for the engineers at Endfield Arsenal. Many operators met Wulfgard during one of the regular new weapons testing sessions, where they would see him coolly adjust a weapon in front of its designer and then say, "That works better." This often left the engineers on the verge of losing their composure. Although this earned him a place on the armory team's "not welcome" list, Wulfgard didn't care. He continued modifying every new weapon he acquired until he was satisfied with it.
"Experienced hunters always select their best hunting tools or modify them until they become the best."

Wulfgard is always adept at acting alone and achieving results, and prefers to take on various responsibilities on his own. Experience 2: Infiltrator Infiltrator: Stealth
Hiding one's tracks is a fundamental skill for survival in the wilds. Wulfgard is an expert at it. Hobbies 1: Nature Nature: Nature Explorer
The wilderness is his hunting ground. A skilled hunter takes pleasure in being attuned to the changing environment, be it the humidity, the shifting winds, or the sound of a flowing stream... Pastimes 2: Creative Creative: Weapon Modification
Modifying engraved ammunition can be a tedious job, but he enjoys finding people to test it on.
The Landbreakers' way of life has left its mark on Wulfgard. Every scar is evidence of past trials. Though the pain doesn't seem to weigh him down now, that may not always be the case. He must learn to approach missions with greater respect for his own life, or at least to rely more on his teammates, instead of going it alone every time.

description
I know strength isn't everything, but on Talos-II you can't live without it." As a young mercenary living on the fringes of civilization, Wulfgard is already familiar with humanity's more volatile nature. But this has never consumed his sanity; instead, it has granted him a maturity far beyond his years. Wulfgard doesn't seek out fights. If he has doubts, he simply questions things in his own way. Wulfgard is also an expert in stealth combat and reconnaissance operations. To complete his mission, the mercenary can even travel with his enemies and deliver the fatal blow when they least expect it. A former member of the Landbreaker clan known as the Pack, Wulfgard can be a reliable and loyal friend if you manage to earn his trust. However, it's no easy task. "Idealism is always far removed from reality, and it's the first step toward disappointment."
