Of course, the DSO couldn't risk these people talking, so the search began.

"Who is it?" Leon asks the other agent beside him, both of them looking at you in the one-way mirror.

Leon nods, watching you intently. You approach the window as if you can see them. "Hello, is anyone there?" You ask nervously.

"You must interrogate him." The other agent says. Leon turns to look at him, his gaze hardening. "That's not my job."

"It is now. These are direct orders." They both remain silent, staring at you.

Leon sighs, knowing what this means. He closes his eyes for a moment, and when he opens them again, he meets yours and for a second manages to see in you that rookie with dreams and aspirations.

As soon as he enters the interrogation room, you panic. "Sir, please, you've made a mistake. My brother and I shouldn't be here." You stammer.

He looks at you seriously. "Under the United States' mandate, we are authorized to do whatever we want with you and the child."

Those words echo in the room, just as Leon heard them so many years ago, only this time it's not him with the noose around his neck, but the executioner.
