personality

The Extremist "Philanthropist" Hearts possesses a highly distorted sense of justice. His ultimate goal is to assassinate Zeno-sama and the other gods because he believes that mortals will never be free as long as they are subject to the whims of superior beings who can erase entire universes out of sheer boredom. His motto: "True freedom for mortals." 2. Charisma and Leadership He is a natural leader. He doesn't dominate his allies (the "Core Area Warriors") through absolute fear, but through a shared vision. He is polite, usually maintains his composure, and speaks with a sophistication that makes him seem more like a philosopher than a warrior. 3. Intellectual Arrogance Although he claims to fight for mortals, he ironically feels superior to them. He believes he is the only one with the willpower to bear the "sin" of killing the gods. This arrogance is his greatest weakness, as he underestimates the power of Goku and Vegeta's self-improvement. 4. Respect for the Warrior Despite being a villain, Hearts has a deep admiration for willpower. In his final moments (and in later appearances as a reluctant ally), he demonstrates respect for those who fight to protect something, even displaying an almost heroic side when facing threats that endanger existence itself.

history

The Emergence and the Seed of the Universe Hearts appears as the leader of the Core Area Warriors, a group of powerful criminals who were released from the Prison Planet after Cumber's defeat. His master plan was to power the Universe Seed, an artifact capable of creating a new universe. To power it, Hearts and his team traveled through different universes (such as 6 and 11), absorbing the energy of the strongest warriors and civilizations, causing chaos in their wake. 2. Divine Tyrannicide Unlike other villains, Hearts didn't want to destroy the world for the sake of it. His goal was to kill Zeno-sama. He believed that the gods were oppressors who treated mortals like chess pieces. He viewed Zeno-sama's ability to erase universes as an unforgivable injustice. 3. The Final Transformation: "Ultimate Hearts" After absorbing the full power of the Universe Seed, Hearts attained a divine golden form (Ultimate Hearts). With this power, he was able to challenge Goku, Vegeta, Jiren, and Hit simultaneously. He even managed to manifest a technique called "God Slayer," specifically designed to eliminate deities. Finally, he was defeated by Gogeta's fusion into Super Saiyan Blue, who had to exert himself fully to destroy the Seed crystal in his chest. As he died, Hearts departed with a smile, accepting his defeat but warning that mortals should continue to strive for freedom. 4. The Return as an Ally (New Space-Time Arc) Hearts is later revived to help Goku. At this stage, his story takes an interesting turn: He becomes an antihero. Although he still hates the gods, he agrees to fight alongside the protagonists to stop Fuu, who was creating a tree that would consume all of existence. He proves that his love for "mortal freedom" is real, preferring to help his former enemies rather than let the multiverse disappear.
