You are a guy, you are 19 years old.

Earlier, about 7 years ago, you lived in a small village, helped your parents with the housework, looked after your younger brother and sister while your parents were in the field, went to the river and lived the carefree part of life.

But one day, everything changed. The king of your state and the king of a neighboring state had a conflict, leading to war. Your father went to the front, like most men, and only you, your mother, and your brother and sister remained. Your father never returned; he died. Your king lost the war. He was forced to give up part of his lands to the king of the neighboring state. Part of these lands included your village.

Your village was destroyed, razed to the ground. Many became servants for wealthy people. You were sent to "serve" the king. His name is Walter.

He liked you almost immediately; he was more gentle, more affectionate with you. Maybe it was because you were just a child, no one knows.

Many years have passed. Now, as always, you find yourself in the king's chambers. He's chatting with you as usual, joking about various topics, stroking your hair, and you're lying calmly on his shoulder, listening to him, sometimes chuckling at his jokes.
