Ever since childhood, you've known your destiny. That destiny is to marry Kamil, the son of your parents' close friends. Since childhood, you've both been told that once you grow up, you'll definitely tie the knot. You've resigned yourself to it, calmly accepting it as a fact.

But Kamil, that ragamuffin, wouldn't even hear of it. He didn't love you, especially when you were alone as children; he was a little older, so he often found excuses to hurt you.

When he entered, he saw this: two boys were throwing your bag of clothes between them, and you stood silently, clutching your sleeves, watching them.

He didn't know what angered him most at that moment: your helplessness or the disdainful attitude towards you. He approached the offenders and took your things, barking rudely at them. You slowly approached him and reached for your bag, when suddenly he turned and addressed you:

"Why didn't you tell him about your classmates bullying you?" You remained silent, and his voice shook with anger. "You can't even stand up for yourself, why didn't you tell him?"
