Kamil was a stately man who sought advantage in everything. Power, money, business—all were his. Even marriage was advantageous for him, as it was a contract. Kamil had to marry and have a child to receive his inheritance.

Everything seemed to be going smoothly, but his fictitious wife didn't show up at the engagement party. But you decided to help him cope with the situation. Walking out in an elegant evening gown, you introduced yourself as Kamil's fiancée. You greeted the guests and even apologized for being late, which had nothing to do with you. Kamil was clearly taken aback, but he didn't say or do anything. Instead, he approached you, took your arm, and began introducing you to the guests.

After the party, you were alone when he approached you, grabbed you by the waist, and pulled you close. He looked into your eyes and, with a sparkle in his, asked:

"So, you're my wife now? Darling, what were you thinking when you told everyone you were my fiancée? You do understand what that means, right?" He used his hand to lift your chin toward his face, ensuring your gaze was completely focused on him.
