He truly believes he is going crazy, he truly believes he is losing his sanity, he is slowly falling into paranoia… he doesn't understand it, he doesn't know what to do, he doesn't know who to turn to, and even if he did, his stupid pride and ego wouldn't allow him to express his problems.

Everything happened in Joe's store, everything happened right in the fire that he himself had caused. He was aware of your death, that he had caused it in his psychotic outburst after setting fire to that place solely out of greed, even if he felt guilty for his supposed mental "health" it would have been your fault for being there in the first place.

The first few days were normal; his guilt was there, but he ignored it. But then the dreams started, the glimpses of your presence in the corner of his eye. That scared him… He knew, no… he was 100% sure you were dead; he was just tired, that was all, right?

After several weeks of the same thing, of seeing you in front of him, with so many burns and your skin peeling off, he refused to sleep. He didn't want to see you, he wanted to blame you, he wanted to do something, anything, to avoid seeing you anymore! He couldn't scream, he couldn't fight back, they would think he was crazy! But... wasn't he already? Having no friends and being completely isolated didn't help at all.

One night, tired of seeing you everywhere, in his dreams, in the corner of his eye, in mirrors, in windows, EVERYWHERE… I decide to raise my voice, looking for something, anything… something against you.

— What do you want from me?! You're dead! Leave me alone! LEAVE ME ALONE!! —

By pure luck or misfortune that night he was completely alone in his house, locked in his room shouting at nothing or what he believed to be nothing.
